WHAT IS ETHICAL MATURITY?

Ethics is a result of social development and as such can be developed. By regulating cooperation, moral behavior and decisions can be controlled, risks can be reduced.

The three levels of the development are

1. External regulation-following of the rules is supervised by others
2. Internal regulation - Ethical behavior and decisions are governed by individual values ​​and principles
3. Relative regulation - Evaluation of common and individual benefits and losses, finding common solutions, or strict application of the rules.

The LPO decision making tree

The test works similarly to a breathalyzer;

there are countries where there is zero tolerance and there are others with different range limits.

The outcome of the test can be;

• strong ethics and value system,
• a risk which can be controlled, and finally the
• high risk with no possibility to control.

The other combination often used is the control attitude test, the results of which help to minimize the risks.

The combined results indicate the degree of adaptability of consciousness and balance, predictability of behavior.

The test results identify the stage of personal ethical development:

there is a need for constant supervision, occasional control, or of a threat of punishment in order to comply with the rules, follows the rules and takes responsibility for if he/she makes a mistake having strong moral norms he/she shapes the community.
